Verifying Your Identity When Purchasing a Phone Number

You may need to submit proof of a valid address or identification to purchase some phone numbers.
Due to local regulations, some phone numbers require that you're located within or outside of a geographical boundary. To purchase these numbers, you'll need to provide and maintain a valid business or personal address that satisfies the requirement. 
Please contact us to verify your identity if you receive the following error message when adding a new call line:
"The phone number you selected requires additional information. Contact us to complete the purchase."

To verify your identity for purchasing a phone number:

Please send us the following documentation:
  • For individuals: A valid, government-issued photo identification (e.g., passport, national ID card, driver's license).
  • For businesses purchasing a German phone number: Either a valid, government-issued photo ID of an employee, or a company identification document. The Identity Document must show your residence or business address as listed within the geographic region of the desired Call Center phone number.
  • For businesses purchasing an Italian phone number: A signatory for your business must provide both a government-issued photo ID, as well as the name and VAT code of your business.
