Reconnecting Your Facebook Pages

Your Facebook Pages can be disconnected from your Wix Answers account if your password or other settings have changed in Facebook. Tickets will not be created from Facebook if your account is disconnected. Reconnect your account to continue using Facebook as a support channel.  
If your Facebook Page is disconnected:
  • Messages from your Facebook Page will not be sent to existing or new tickets. 
  • You cannot send replies on tickets created from your Facebook Page. You can still reply directly from your Facebook Page. 
  • Administrators in Wix Answers will see an alert next to Settings and Facebook in the side panel. 
  • You must be an admin of the Facebook Pages to reconnect them. 

To reconnect your Facebook Pages:

  1. In the Wix Answers app, go to Settings > Support Channels > Facebook.
  1. Click Reconnect next to the Facebook Page that is disconnected. 
  1. Log in to your Facebook account.
Note:
If multiple Facebook Pages are disconnected, we recommend reconnecting them all at the same time (if possible). Otherwise, you'll need to click Edit Settings instead of Continue as [your name] when you log in to Facebook. You'll then be able to select the remaining Facebook Pages to reconnect them. 
  1. Select the checkbox next to the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect. 
  2. Click Next
  3. (Optional) Click the toggle next to each option you want to enable.
  1. Click Done.
  2. Click OK
