About Email Addresses Used for Sending

The following tables present which email addresses are used to send outgoing emails from Wix Answers (the From: email header). Wix Answers determines the address based on whether the ticket is associated with a mailbox, the kind of email being sent, and the configuration of the Email Domains and Mailboxes page. This page contains two panes:
Outgoing Email Domains pane:
In this pane:
  • Domains listed in this pane with the status Connected are connected domains. Domains not listed in this pane, or listed as Not connected or Connecting are not connected domains.
  • The domain with a green checkmark in the Primary column is the primary domain.
Mailboxes pane:
In this pane:
  • Each row in this pane defines an external mailbox (External Email Address) and an internal mailbox (Wix Answers Address) associated with a brand.
  • The row with a green checkmark in the Brand's Primary Mailbox defines the primary mailboxes for that brand.
  • The part of an external mailbox address after the @ is the mailbox domain.
Tip:
Learn how to change your primary mailbox which determines the email addresses your Wix Answers account uses for sending.
