Deactivating Call Lines

Deactivate a call line to turn off the ability to receive inbound or make outbound calls.

To deactivate a call line:

  1. In the Wix Answers app, go to Settings > Support Channels > Call Center > Lines.
  1. Click Manage next to the relevant line. 
  2. Deactivate your line next to each call type:
    • Incoming Calls: When deactivated, callers hear your inactive message. 
      1. Click the toggle to deactivate incoming calls. 
      2. Click Change next to Inactive message
      3. Select the type of message your callers hear:
        • Text to speech: Select a language from the drop-down menu, then enter the text played to callers. 
        • Recorded sound file: Click Upload an audio file, then select your file and click Open
      4. Click Save
    • Outgoing Calls: Click the toggle to deactivate the line from being used for outbound calls.
      Note: To deactivate you must have another line set as your default outgoing call line.
Note:
Call lines are monthly subscriptions that automatically deduct from your Call Center Credits. If you no longer wish to use a line, permanently delete it to avoid unnecessary credit deductions.
