Transferring Your Call to an External Phone Number

Assist callers that need to speak with someone outside of your organization by transferring in-progress calls to external phone numbers. 

To transfer to an external phone number:

  1. Answer a call or create a new call.
  2. Click the Transfer call to Queue icon in the Call Control panel. 
  1. Click Queue next to Transfer call to a and select Transfer to a Phone Number.
  1. Enter the phone number you're transferring the call to and click Select.
    Note: To transfer to one of your contacts click Contacts then search for the contact, select them from the list and click Select
  2. Click Transfer & Leave.
The call ends in your Call Center along with the call recording once you've transferred it to an external phone number.
