Setting Up Your Facebook Page as a Support Channel

Connect your Facebook Page(s) to turn wall posts and private messages into tickets in your Wix Answers account. 
Notes:
  • You can connect Facebook Pages to your Wix Answers account, but it is not possible to set up a personal Facebook profile as a support channel. Learn more about the differences on Facebook
  • According to Facebook's Messenger Platform policy, you can only reply to user messages sent within the last 7 days. If 7 days have passed since the last user message, replying is blocked on the ticket. You can still reply directly from your Facebook Page. 
  • Tickets created from Facebook do not have an associated brand unless you set up an automatic action to add one.

To connect Facebook Pages:

  1. In the Wix Answers app, go to Settings > Support Channels > Facebook.
  1. Click Connect Facebook Pages.
  2. Log in to your Facebook account.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect. 
  4. Click Next
  5. (Optional) Click the toggle next to each option you want to enable.
  1. Click Done.
  2. Click OK
  3. Select the Facebook Page(s) you want to connect and click Connect
  4. Click the toggle(s)  next to the type of message(s) you want tickets to be created from: 
    • A wall post: Tickets are created when users write wall posts on your Facebook Page. 
    • A private message: Tickets are created when users write private messages to your Facebook Page. 
  1. (Optional) Click Connect Facebook Pages to connect another Facebook Page.
To remove a Facebook Page:
Click the Show More icon  to the right of a Facebook Page and select Remove page.
